What an incredible month for County Clare, all ages are swept away with All Ireland Hurling Fever. We at the Day Centre are no exception to this with The Clare Team stopping off and having a well earned bite to eat and some time to recharge the batteries on Sunday. All of the team and their associates were so gracious and generous with their time and they helped make life long memories for people that were here

GARDENING CLUB
Many of the vegetables have already been harvested and used in our kitchen and we are now on our 3rd crop. Planning ahead is alway an important part of gardening so our clients together with Mary Donnelly have introduced some seasonal flowers and plants. Our Hyacinths should be ready for use in Christmas arrangements
KNITTING / CROCHET GROUP
This group are collaborating on producing a banner for our Centre but also have their own individual projects that they are working on which is all done in a lovely atmosphere of chat, swopping stories and ideas. The numbers for this group are growing so quickly that a change of venue from the sun room is needed
GAMES / ACTIVITIES
Our bridge club and card players group are still going strong while others enjoyed card making, art, puzzles, quizes, outdoor activities and baking demonstrations
